Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE Film Grade – 0190 / 0075)

LDPE Film Grade Product

LDPE Film Grade Resin – 0190 / 0075

Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) film grade, with a density range of 0.920–0.925 g/cm³, offers high flexibility and excellent drawdown properties. It enables the production of films with reduced thickness while maintaining satisfactory mechanical strength.

This grade is particularly suitable for applications requiring moderate transparency, softness, and relative durability, making it a preferred choice in the flexible packaging industry.

Key Benefits

  • High flexibility with good softness
  • Excellent drawdown properties for thinner films
  • Moderate transparency with good appearance
  • Satisfactory mechanical strength despite reduced thickness
  • Reliable heat-sealing capability

Typical Applications

  • Shopping bags and carrier bags
  • General packaging films
  • Food and consumer goods packaging
  • Liners and wraps

Technical Properties (Typical values)

  • Density: 0.920–0.925 g/cm³
  • Melt Flow Index (MFI): Grade dependent (commonly ~0.75–1.9 g/10 min)
  • Good tensile strength for film applications
  • Excellent heat-sealability

Processing Guidelines

  • Designed for blown film extrusion
  • Extrusion temperature: 160–200°C (depending on equipment)
  • Can be blended with LLDPE to improve toughness
  • Optimized for thin film production with good clarity

Packaging & Storage

Supplied in 25 kg polyethylene bags or bulk containers. Store in a cool, dry, and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Avoid moisture contamination before processing.

Sustainability & Recycling

LDPE is recyclable and categorized as Type 4 (LDPE/LLDPE). Widely accepted in recycling streams, it is often reprocessed into films, garbage bags, and non-critical plastic products. Its ability to produce thinner films helps reduce overall plastic usage.
